After removing the cover After removing the cover, you can use a flathead for prying the four main attachment clips off the passenger side of fob assembly. They are marked in red on the photo below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots that are highlighted in yellow. They must be removed as well.
Replace the battery with a #CR2032 coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the opening on the fob and the "-" side should be facing the buttons made of rubber.
Reattach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you've completed this, insert the fob for the driver side back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working as it should the parking lights will be on and the doors will lock.
